Russian Buttercream

ingredients:
2 sticks (1 cup) unsalted butter
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
instructions:
Make sure the butter is completely at room temperature before starting
Add butter to a stand mixer with a whisk attachment and whip on high speed for 5 minutes, scraping down sides as needed
Reduce to medium speed and add the sweetened condensed milk in thirds, mixing until fully incorporated each time
Add vanilla and salt, then whip on high speed for 1 more minute until smooth and fluffy
