Instructions
1. Bake the Tater Tots
- Preheat oven according to package instructions.
- Spread tater tots in a single layer on a baking sheet and bake until crispy.
- Season with salt & pepper if desired.
2. Prepare the Sausage Gravy
- In a skillet, cook breakfast sausage over medium-high heat until browned.
- Sprinkle in flour, stirring well to combine. Cook for 1–2 minutes to remove raw flour taste.
- Slowly add milk, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Season with salt & pepper, reduce heat to low, and keep warm.
3. Assemble the Loaded Tots
- Transfer crispy tater tots to a serving dish or bowls.
- Pour sausage gravy over the top.
- Sprinkle with cheddar cheese, allowing it to melt.
- Garnish with sliced green onions.
4. Serve & Enjoy!
- Serve immediately while hot and cheesy.
